Consumers tend to replace cell phones after about two years of use. Every year thousands of devices are thrown away or set aside to collect dust. Few of us recognize how useful these disconnected collections of plastic, metal and ceramics are, and how we can make a huge impact by recycling them.
The "Fresh Start" program is a way for customers across the province to make a positive change in their communities. Proceeds from the recycling process will be used to support a SaskTel community partnership, aiding victims of domestic abuse with funds generated through this program going to shelters.
